3(a) Age Limit (as on 01 January 2027):

3(b) Academic Qualification:

Flying Branch (AFCAT & NCC Special Entry):
Candidates must have 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a graduation degree with 60% marks, OR a BE/B.Tech degree, OR AMIE/ASI qualification with 60% marks.

Ground Duty (Technical – AE(L) & AE(M)):
Must have 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a four-year engineering/technology degree with 60% marks in relevant disciplines such as Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, IT, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Power Engineering and related specializations.

Ground Duty (Non-Technical):

  • Weapon Systems (WS): 10+2 with Physics & Maths (50%) and Graduation with 60% marks or BE/B.Tech.

  • Administration & Logistics: 10+2 and Graduation (any discipline) with 60% marks.

  • Accounts: B.Com or Finance-related degrees with 60% marks, or CA/CMA/CS/CFA qualified.

  • Education: 10+2 and Post-Graduation with 50%, plus Graduation with 60%.

  • Meteorology: 10+2 and B.Sc with Physics & Mathematics (60%) or a four-year engineering degree in relevant fields.
