- Candidates from other states will be treated under the Unreserved (UR) category regardless of their caste/community.

6: Bihar SHS Lab Technician Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria |
Laboratory Technician (LT)- Essential: Intermediate (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and followed by Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology(BMLT) / Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology(DMLT) from recognized institution
Senior Laboratory Technician (NTEP) Essential Qualification: - M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology, Applied Microbiology, General Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry with or without a DMLT. Alternatively, candidates with a B.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Life Science, Botany, or Zoology accompanied by a DMLT diploma are eligible. Those with an M.Sc. must have at least two years of relevant work experience in Mycobacterium tuberculosis-related TB laboratory tests (Genotypic or Phenotypic), while those with a B.Sc. must have three years of such work experience.

- Experience weightage: 80 marks for CBT score (scaled) + 20 marks (COVID-19 / relevant experience considered as specified)
- Total: 100 marks

- Negative marking: –0.25 per wrong answer in CBT
- Note:
- Lab Technicians who served during COVID-19 under NHM/SHS Bihar, will get extra experience selection marks, provided they submit a valid certificate. Only authentic experience will be considered in the final merit list.
- Final Merit List is prepared from CBT + experience weightage.
