- For B.Sc Nursing Degree Holders: B.Sc Nursing (4-Year) or B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) (2-Year) from an INC/State Nursing Council-recognized University or Institute.
- Candidates must be registered as a Nurse and Midwife with the State Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council.
- For Diploma Holders: Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from an INC-recognized Board/Council.
- Diploma holders must be registered as a Nurse and Midwife with the State Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council.
- GNM diploma holders must also have at least 2 years of work experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after completion of the diploma.
