3: RRC NCR Prayagraj Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
3(a) Age Limit
As per the official notification, the age will be calculated as on 16 September 2025.
Minimum Age: 15 years
Maximum Age: 24 years

Age Relaxation
Applicants belonging to reserved categories will get relaxation in the upper age limit as per government rules:
SC/ST: Up to 5 years
OBC: Up to 3 years
PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability): Up to 10 years
Ex-Servicemen: Additional relaxation equal to the duration of service in Defence Forces plus 3 years, provided they have served for at least 6 months continuously. Maximum 10 years relaxation is allowed.
3(b) Medical Fitness & Physical Standards
For the RRC NCR Prayagraj Apprentice Recruitment 2025, candidates must be medically fit and submit a certificate signed by a Government doctor not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon.

3(c) Educational Qualification:
To be eligible for the RRC NCR Prayagraj Apprentice Recruitment 2025, candidates must fulfill the following educational requirements:
Academic Qualification:
Candidates must have passed SSC/Matriculation/10th Class Examination or its equivalent under the 10+2 system.
A minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required from a recognized Board.
Technical Qualification:
Applicants must possess an ITI Certificate/National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT, recognized by the Government of India.
The ITI qualification is compulsory in the respective trade for which the candidate is applying.
Important Notes:
Candidates awaiting results of SSC/Matriculation/10th or ITI as on 16.09.2025 are not eligible.
Applicants who have failed in ITI should not apply. If such candidates are selected by mistake, their candidature will be cancelled immediately and stipend already paid will be recovered with interest.
Engineering graduates and diploma holders are not eligible to apply under this notification as they fall under a separate apprenticeship scheme.

- 10th Class Mark Sheet (or equivalent) – proof of qualification.
- Proof of Date of Birth – 10th certificate/mark sheet or School Leaving Certificate.
- Consolidated ITI Mark Sheet or Provisional National Trade Certificate.
- NCVT/SCVT Trade Certificate (final or provisional).

Details must exactly match matriculation records; mismatches lead to disqualification.

7: Mode of Selection – RRC NCR Prayagraj Apprentice Recruitment 2025
The selection process for RRC NCR Prayagraj Apprentice Recruitment 2025 will be purely merit-based. No written test or interview will be conducted.
Selection Criteria:
A merit list will be prepared by taking the average of marks in Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate required) and ITI examination, giving equal weightage to both.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for document and certificate verification in a ratio of 1.5 times the total vacancies.
In case of a tie:
The candidate with older age will be preferred.
If age is also the same, the one who passed Matriculation earlier will get priority.
The final merit list will be prepared Unit-wise, Trade-wise, and Community-wise based on descending order of marks.

8: Training Period & Stipend
Training Period:
