3: Eligibility Criteria
3(a) Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026):
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 23 Years
- Candidate must be born between 02 January 2003 and 01 January 2008 (both dates inclusive).

Important: Those who have not acquired Class 10 qualification by the cut-off date are not eligible to apply.

5: SSC GD Constable 2026 – Mode of Selection
The recruitment process includes five stages. Candidates must qualify each stage to appear in the next one.✔ Complete Selection Stages

The SSC GD Constable Computer Based Examination (CBE) consists of one objective-type paper with 80 questions for 160 marks.

The PET/PST is conducted by CAPFs for candidates shortlisted from the Computer Based Examination (CBE). Biometric verification and document checking are done before the tests.
