6:PNB Bank LBO Recruitment 2025–Exam Pattern

Eligible candidates must appear for an Online Written Examination, the structure of which is given below:

Key Points:

  • Negative marking of ¼ marks will apply for each incorrect answer.

  • Minimum qualifying marks:

    • 40% for General / EWS category

    • 35% for Reserved categories

  • The Bank reserves the right to revise the qualifying criteria at any stage.

6(b) Phase II: Screening

  • Applications and documents of written test–qualified candidates will be scrutinized by the Bank before the Language Proficiency Test or Interview.

  • If a candidate is found ineligible or submits false/incomplete documents, their candidature will be rejected at any stage.

6(c) Phase III: Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)

  • Candidates who have not studied the local language of the applied state in 10th or 12th will have to appear for the LLPT.

  • The LLPT will be qualifying in nature — candidates must score the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by the Bank.

  • The test will assess reading, writing, and speaking skills in the respective local language.

  • Those who studied the local language in 10th/12th are exempted, subject to valid documentary proof.

  • LLPT date, time, and venue will be notified separately by the Bank.

6(d) Phase IV: Personal Interview

  • Candidates shortlisted after the Online Test and LLPT will be called for the Personal Interview (worth 50 marks).

  • Minimum Qualifying Marks in Interview:

    • 50% (25 marks) for General / EWS / OBC

    • 45% (22.50 marks) for SC / ST candidates

  • Appearance in the interview does not guarantee selection; only LLPT-qualified candidates will be considered for the merit list.

Final Selection Process:

  • Final merit will be based on the combined performance in:

    • Online Written Test and

    • Personal Interview,
      subject to qualifying in the LLPT and document verification.

  • Merit list will be prepared state-wise and category-wise.

  • In case of a tie in marks, the older candidate (by date of birth) will be placed higher in merit.

  • Final appointment will depend on the merit position and fulfilment of all eligibility conditions.
