3(b) Age Relaxation (as per Government Rules):
Bihar State Health Services Employees: +5 years
PwD Candidates: Up to 10 years
If a candidate falls under multiple reserved categories, only one relaxation (whichever is most beneficial) will apply.
3(c) Educational Qualification:
Candidates applying for the Sr. Resident/ Tutor posts must meet the following eligibility conditions:
The post requires a Postgraduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) under the Residency Scheme.
40% of vacancies are reserved for doctors currently serving under the Bihar State Health Services Cadre.
40% seats will be filled from candidates who completed their PG from medical colleges within Bihar.
20% seats will be filled from candidates who completed PG Residency from medical institutions outside Bihar, recognized by the State Government.
Candidates who hold equivalent PG qualifications recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) are also eligible.
Candidates who have not completed the full senior residency tenure must submit valid certification; 10 marks will be awarded for minimum residency experience.
