8(a) Bihar Police SI 2025 – Preliminary Exam
Candidates need at least 30% marks in the Preliminary Exam to qualify.
Those scoring below 30% will be declared disqualified.
Based on prelims performance, 20 times the total vacancies will be shortlisted category-wise for the Main Exam.
Normalization of marks will be done using the Equi-Percentile Method for multiple shifts.
8(c) Bihar Police SI 2025 – Final Merit List
The final merit list will be prepared based on marks scored in the Main Exam only.
PET is qualifying in nature (no marks added).
In case of tie in marks:
Candidate older in age will be given preference.
If age is also the same, then preference will be given to candidates with higher educational qualifications.
If still tied, alphabetical order (as per Class 10 certificate) will be followed.
